I. Treated the Same Acts 2:44-45 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Acts 4:32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
The risen Lord continued to work with them: Mark 16:20 And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
II. Rejoiced the Same
Acts 2:46-47a And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people...
The Christians in met in the temple courts, presumably the area called Solomon's Colonnade, for prayer and praise.
Fellowship comes through giving.
Three things that described their joy... 1. Gladness.
2. Singleness of Heart — meaning soil from which all stones are cleared.
3. Thankfulness.
Psalms 103:1-5 Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. 2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; 5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.
III. Not the Same Few
Acts 2:47b ...And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Acts 16:5 And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.
